“We’ve already earmarked Croke Park as a potential public viewing venue, but that won’t be enough.

“We’re already working on that, together with the local authorities and also with Football Supporters Europe.

“If we come up with one of those scenarios, we will also talk to the fans of the clubs involved to find the best solution.

“The biggest problem we have now is whether Croke Park will be big enough – because we think we’ll need more alternatives for the crowd that will be in Dublin.

“It’s not an easy operation and it’s only for a couple of scenarios, which would make it extremely complicated – especially with clubs that already have a large fan base on the island of Ireland.

“We are dealing with this issue and will also be contacting the fan bases. As soon as the semi-final line-up is set, we will collaborate with them as well.”
